“Apple waffles are the weekend breakfast I make when I want something warm and slightly sweet that still counts as a proper start to the day. The apple adds moisture and a natural sweetness, and they come out of the waffle iron golden and crisp in all the right places.”

Why this works — Mila's notes
OATMEAL & SUSTAINED ENERGY
Oats' beta-glucan fiber slows glucose absorption, stabilizing blood sugar—key for energy and hormonal balance in your 30s. This steady release boosts satiety and prevents afternoon crashes.
EGGS & CHOLINE
One egg provides ~125 mg choline, vital for liver function, brain health, and estrogen metabolism — especially important for women as we age.
APPLES & QUERCETIN
Apples offer quercetin, an anti-inflammatory antioxidant supporting gut integrity. Their fiber feeds beneficial bacteria, strengthening the microbiome that regulates hormones and immunity.
