“Almond biscuits are the kind of thing I keep in a tin on the counter — they last for days, they are good with coffee, and they are just sweet enough to feel like a treat without being the kind of thing you regret. Made with ground almonds, which gives them a texture that flour never quite matches.”

Why this works — Mila's notes
ALMOND FLOUR & MAGNESIUM
Almond flour provides ~80mg magnesium per 100g, essential for women 30+ managing stress and progesterone metabolism. This supports cortisol regulation and muscle relaxation during hormonal shifts.
EGG WHITES & PROTEIN
Two egg whites provide ~7g of complete protein with all nine essential amino acids. They support stable blood sugar and satiety without spiking insulin, ideal for sustained energy and easy digestion.
ALMOND ESSENCE & ANTIOXIDANTS
Almond essence amplifies polyphenols in almond flour, enhancing anti-inflammatory compounds that support skin health and reduce oxidative stress—a gentle indulgence that supports natural aging.
